About the Program
The Peer to Peer program was a peer-driven mental health service aimed at transitional age youth facing emotional, social, and interpersonal challenges that impacted their academic or occupational functioning. The professional peers were individuals who experienced the same challenges and served as partners to the youth by providing individual and group services.
Project Description/ Goals:
1. Increase the program's reach by growing the following on Facebook and Instagram.
2. Drive engagement by marketing specific services, such as focus groups and 1:1 sessions with a professional peer.
Creative Process and Strategy:
1. Design and implement strategic campaigns to increase Instagram engagement including:
- Meet and Greet at Mount San Jacinto College to have a chance to meet the professional peers and listen to their stories.
- Raffles and giveaways at community events to drive up follower count.
- Professional peer interviews.
2. Write compelling copy for Facebook and Instagram to the voice of the program. Maintain consistent interactions with followers on both programs, fostering a sense of community and building client trust.
3. Capture high-quality photos and videos of the community events where the professional peers were participating in and create visually appealing and enticing digital content for the program's social media accounts.
